Hei, I'm Serafeim! You found my website! I'm an W-EMT, herbalist, and photographer. This is my corner of the internet, crafted with HTML and CSS. I prefer keeping things simple and minimal, just like the early days of the internet!
"chamomile.studio" comes from my childhood nickname Ромашка, meaning 'chamomile' — an endearing name given to me as a child, derived from my Ukrainian name Роман (Roman). I was baptized as an Orthodox Christian with the name Serafeim in honour of St. Seraphim of Sarov. It's also good practice in my opinion to use an alias instead of your legal name, at least in online spaces.
Chamomile isn't the most memorable brand name so here are some cool facts about the chamomile flower to make it more appealing.
The chamomile is often associated with the sun due to its vibrant yellow center and white petals. It symbolizes calmness, peace, purification, and protection, and is commonly used in rituals for these purposes. Many people incorporate chamomile into spiritual baths or smudging practices to protect against negative entities or evil spirits. In herbalism, chamomile is believed to enhance access to deeper wisdom, intuition, and clarity by soothing the mind and promoting clear insight, making it especially beneficial for meditation.
