- Do not end your sentence with a high pitch
- Speak less than more
- When you're nervous, count to 10 and think about what you want to say
- Stop saying swear words when you are about to say it, then stop and think
- Don't interrupt someone
- When someone interrupts you, don't stop with what you say, continue speaking at the same volume and pace
- In a presentation, walk and speak with every segment, don't be glued to one spot
